"Heyward Manor may be new to the wedding venue business, but boy have they went above and beyond! Every detail of this place is immaculate. Especially the bridal suite! That was one of the main deciding factors for me. You don’t realize how important a good bridal suite is until your wedding day. You spend a lot of time in there! Not only is their bridal suite picture perfect, but it is also roomy and comfortable for your whole bridal party. The rest of the venue is nothing short of perfect as well! The beauty of this place speaks for itself, and they are constantly making new additions to make it even more dreamy. There’s not another venue in the upstate that compares to it!"

"I have the hardest time coming up with adequate words to describe how wonderful Heyward Manor is. Its beauty is apparent the moment you pull into the drive, and the views only get better. Simply put, Heyward has it all. We felt so confident making the decision to start forever there. The Black family is the most welcoming and loving group of people, and we felt like we were more becoming part of a family than picking a venue. They took care of us from the biggest to the smallest ways. We even ran into Libby on the day of our wedding in the Dollar General buying tissues because one of the bathrooms was out. I stressed about wanting our day to be perfect and beautiful, but after our family and friends saw the venue, I was constantly encouraged that even if I had no decorations, it would still be beautiful because Heyward provided the perfect backdrop. But even though our big day is over, I still see the team at Heyward Manor constantly striving to improve and to add things that will make future brides’ experiences the best they can be, and I think that’s rare in a venue. They anticipate needs and have truly servants’ hearts. I don’t think anyone could go wrong choosing this amazing place!"

"Heyward Manor is my favorite location to shoot at in the upstate. As a photographer, the things that make this venue stand out in photos is the beautiful landscape with MANY different spots for photos, then indoors all the white walls and large windows allow for beautiful soft light throughout, then there is the getting ready room with the large window and beautiful details. Every inch of this venue is wonderful for photos! On top of it being a beautiful location, the people who run the venue have hearts of gold and go above and beyond to take care of their couples. In my book, Heyward Manor is a 10/10!"

"We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding. The second you see the barn you are left speechless. Every inch of this venue has been thought through to ensure maximum efficiency and beauty. The bridal suite is so beautiful, and my girls and I had so much fun getting ready. We felt the love and presence of Jesus when we first walked into the venue and then we met Libby and understood why. She explained the story of how the venue was built and that absolutely sold us! Libby is absolutely amazing and goes above and beyond for her brides! The venue could not have been more perfect for us. There are so many perfect picture locations between the garden, the lake, the meadow, and the barn itself! Also, our wedding was in July and the ac was amazing and kept everyone cool which was very important!"

"My daughter and son in law had the most perfect wedding day at Heyward Manor on Saturday, June 27, 2020. I knew after my first conversation with Libby Black this was the venue and we had not seen it is person yet. It is breathtakingly beautiful and every detail so well planned. When I learned that every 2x4 in the building had scripture written on it during a day of prayer and dedication, I knew without a shadow of doubt we had chosen the right place for Jillian and Rooster to start their marriage! "My husband and I got married at Heyward Manor on May 30, 2020 after COVID-19 forced us to cancel our plans to have a big wedding. Libby at Heyward Manor was determined to make our day the most special occasion regardless of whether we had 7 people or 100 people. She set up the venue for us and our parents and even went so far as to purchase for us a small cake in celebration. I cannot even begin to explain what this place has meant to us. The Black family are some of the kindest people who are dedicated to their couples. We are so blessed to have had their support and love!"

"From a photographer’s standpoint, Heyward Manor is a DREAM!! This venue has spacious landscape, a gorgeous interior, and not to mention the sweetest owners. It’s no surprise that Heyward Manor is quickly becoming every couple's top choice! Heyward Manor stands out in more ways than its grand structure. The hospitality and genuine care for YOUR day is what makes all the difference!! After working with Libby, we saw the time and care she invested into each couples’ big day! Libby is organized, incredibly thoughtful, and has not missed a detail to make Heyward Manor an amazing venue. Heyward Manor has many benefits, especially from a photographer’s perspective. Having an indoor space with natural light and bright walls will take away any stress due weather changes because gorgeous ceremony photos can be captured no matter the weather. There are covered areas outside as well, alongside the barn which are another great backup spot for inclement weather. We love the open fields that surround Heyward Manor for epic portraits and the beautiful landscape provides you with a variety of photos!! Your big day at Heyward Manor will be detail-oriented, epic, classic and fun!!"

"When we toured Heyward Manor we were blown away by how beautiful and tranquil the venue and grounds were. It was everything we had dreamed about for our wedding day! The barn is handcrafted perfection down to every detail! Rustic elegance at its finest! The grounds and pond are breathtaking! I especially loved the rope swing by the pond- some of my favorite bridal portraits were taken in that spot. Libby and her team were absolutely amazing to work with! They made my husband and I feel very special. Even with our type A personalities, they still managed to surprise and wow us with all of the little details! Libby surprised my bridesmaids and I the morning of the wedding with some delicious charcuterie trays; they also installed exquisite chandelier candles along the entrance to the barn. Libby and her team even gave us a custom made watercolor painting of the venue as a keepsake! Their thoughtfulness and love for their couples is evident in everything they do! We are so honored to have had our wedding at Heyward Manor—they helped make our wedding day dreams come true! Thank you!"

"Of all the venues I had visited, this was the one that I could actually envision my wedding taking place at. My family and I instantly connected with Carol and Libby, and we knew that they would take good care of us. As a Christian, I felt so comfortable working with people of great faith. They live it out and share the love of Christ at every opportunity. My family was especially drawn to that. Our wedding day was absolutely amazing! Everyone loved the venue, and guests still talk about how beautiful it was. I really could go on and on about the things we love about Heyward Manor, but I feel that anyone who steps foot on the grounds will feel the way we felt there – at home. Heyward Manor will always hold such a special place in my heart, and I love taking every opportunity I can to go back and visit."
